The University of Oxford, located in Oxford, England, is the oldest English-speaking university in the world and consistently ranks among the top universities in the world. It is very well known for its high academic expectations and exceptional success rates for its students.

Oxford receives over 23,000 undergraduate applications annually, but offers just over 3,200 places, resulting in an average acceptance rate of around 14%.

Applications must be submitted via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) by October 15th each year, nearly a year before intended entry, shortlisted applicants are invited to interviews, which are very relevant to Oxford’s admissions process and aim to inform the university on the students academic potential, reasoning for application, and enthusiasm for the chosen subject. Applicants must also take course-specific admissions tests such as: MAT (Maths and Computer Science), LNAT (Law), TSA (PPE, Experimental Psychology, Human Sciences), UCAT (Medicine).

New Zealand applicants need NCEA Level 3 with Excellence endorsement in most or all relevant subjects. Those taking Cambridge A Levels are also eligible.

Annual tuition fees for international undergraduates range from NZD $65,000 to $97,000, depending on the programme

Oxford offers limited financial aid for international students.
